Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR APPOINTMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR APPOINTMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Sponsor

The Upper Valley Septic Professionals Fall Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Upper Valley Septic Professionals (“Sponsor”), Lebanon, New Hampshire.

2. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of New Hampshire and Vermont who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees, owners, officers, and immediate family members of Upper Valley Septic Professionals, and persons living in the same household as such individuals, are not eligible to enter.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. Promotion Period

The Sweepstakes consists of two chances to win, with the drawing taking place on December 1st, 2026 at 9:00 am Eastern Time.

4. How to Enter

No purchase, payment, septic pumping appointment, or other transaction with Sponsor is required to enter. Individuals who schedule an appointment with Upper Valley Septic Professionals in October or November 2026 will automatically be entered into the drawing. To enter without scheduling an appointment, complete and submit the official online entry form below during the applicable entry period of October 1 – November 30th. 

Individuals who schedule a service with Upper Valley Septic Professionals may be directed to the same online entry form but receive no additional entries or advantage as a result of scheduling or purchasing a service.

The requested information must be submitted accurately and completely.

Limit one (1) entry per eligible person. Multiple entries submitted by the same individual may be disqualified.

Automated, fraudulent, incomplete, or otherwise improper entries are prohibited and may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole reasonable discretion.

5. Prizes

Two (2) $500 Visa gift cards will be awarded during the Sweepstakes.

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each prize: $500.

Total ARV of all prizes: $1,000.

Gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the card issuer.

Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for an alternative prize except at Sponsor’s discretion if the advertised prize becomes unavailable, in which case Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

All federal, state, and local taxes or other obligations associated with acceptance or use of a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner unless otherwise required by law.

6. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the applicable drawing period.

Each eligible entry has an equal chance of being selected.

Scheduling or purchasing a septic service does not increase the odds of winning.

7. Winner Selection

Following the close of the entry period, Sponsor will randomly select two (2) potential winners from all eligible entries received.

The random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative.

8. Winner Notification

Potential winners will be contacted using the email address and/or telephone number provided with their entry.

A potential winner may be required to confirm eligibility and provide reasonable information necessary to verify identity and award the prize.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within five (5) business days, is determined to be ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the potential winner may be disqualified and Sponsor may select an alternate winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries.

No payment or purchase will ever be required to claim a prize.

9. Prize Delivery

Sponsor will arrange delivery or pickup of the prize with the verified winner at no cost to the winner.

10. General Conditions

By participating, entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules and Sponsor’s reasonable decisions regarding administration of the Sweepstakes.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that Sponsor reasonably determines are fraudulent, automated, tampered with, submitted in violation of these Official Rules, or intended to interfere with the fair administration of the Sweepstakes.

If the Sweepstakes cannot be administered as intended because of circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes and, if appropriate, select a winner from eligible entries received before the affected period.

Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, interrupted internet service, lost or delayed electronic submissions, or other circumstances outside Sponsor’s reasonable control that prevent an entry from being received.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering, each participant agrees to release and hold Facebook harmless from any liability arising from participation in this promotion.  

11. Privacy

Information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact potential winners, and award prizes.

Entering the Sweepstakes does not automatically enroll an entrant in marketing communications.

Entrants who separately and affirmatively elect to receive marketing communications may receive such communications in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.

12. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, a winner may be asked for permission to allow Sponsor to announce the winner’s first name, last initial, and city/state in connection with the Sweepstakes.

Any additional use of a winner’s name, photograph, likeness, or testimonial for advertising or promotional purposes will be subject to any consent required by applicable law.

13. Release

To the extent permitted by law, entrants agree that Sponsor and its owners, employees, agents, and representatives shall not be responsible for claims arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of a prize, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to waive rights that cannot legally be waived.

14. Governing Law

The Sweepstakes is subject to applicable federal law and the laws and regulations of the states in which it is offered.

15. Winner Information

Following verification of the winners, Sponsor may publish the winner’s first name, last initial, and city/state on its website or social media channels with appropriate permission.
